Changes
for "L" Drivers
Our government is following other countries in Europe such as France,
Germany and Belgium where it is mandatory to have all or some lessons
with an instructor. This will of course lead to a need for more Driving
Instructors, hence more work.
Changes to the driving test its self, such as the introduction of
mandatory log books and longer tests, will also present additional
work.
Changes
to the theory test to streamline the UK with other European countries
present opportunities for more income from teaching and the sale of
training aids. Legislation has already been passed which will require
some drivers to re-sit the driving test, according to the offences
committed, again the need for more instructors are required. The European
Commission has already expressed the opinion that more drivers should
be re-tested.
Do
note however that our current economic climate may take its toll on
our industry and the amount of Learners available.
National
driver improvement scheme
| Throughout
the UK many schemes now operate in association with the Police
for motorists to receive specified retraining by A.D.I's instead
of automatic endorsements. |
 |
Who
will benefit the most?
Where
there is more need, there is more work for A.D.I's! Remember, there
has to be a constant stream of new A.D.I's to replace the ones who
leave the industry for whatever reason.

This
illustrates a fairly consistent market. There is certainly no evidence
the market will dry up, in fact quite the opposite.
As
an example in January 2007, Catz-eye.com turned away 49% of pupil
enquires as our diaries were fully booked and we cannot employ 'Quality'
ADI's quick enough. Since then whilst recruiting new ADI's, we still
operate at maximum capacity for most of the year.
Join
us now and define the driving styles of the next generation whilst
developing a career you can be proud of.
